About Learn to Speak Dog™
We're passionate dog professionals and educators on a mission to teach children how to safely interact with dogs, building confidence and preventing bites through fun, engaging programs.
Our Mission
Learn to Speak Dog™ was created to bridge the gap between children and dogs. Too many kids grow up fearing dogs or not understanding how to read canine body language—leading to preventable incidents.
Our programs teach children of all ages to "speak dog" by understanding what dogs are communicating through their body language, sounds, and behavior. We empower kids to be confident, safe, and compassionate around all dogs.
Whether through our individual programs, group sessions with scout troops and schools, or partnerships with facilities, we're making dog safety education accessible to every child.
